Tim is an experienced outdoor professional and has over 20 years industry experience in land and water based activities.  Leading FE and HE education programmes, supporting national governing bodies and providing consultancy and expertise he has developed excellent skills in workplace competency training and development. 

These skills are supported by formal industry standards that include RYA Yacht-master, RYA Advanced Powerboat instructor, BC Advanced White Water Leader and RLSS National Pool & Beach Lifeguard Trainer Assessor qualifications.

Tim and Gwilym have known each other for over 15 years and after being an occasional associate for a while, Tim joined the team in the Autumn of 2019 primarily to lead Internal Quality Assurance activities and to support the training and assessment team. Tim became a director in 2023.

Tim is passionate about activities; a keen surfer, mountain biker, sailor and skier; he can often be found out and about enjoying the fresh air and the great outdoors .
